Some of the footpaths have been modified into a garden with permanent compound and few some have been turned into religious place of worship which not only includes the footpath but also some area of the road.
Lot of politicians raised their hands and shouted at this area at the election period to do service to the public. Where they are? Did they see this encroachment? We can clearly see how the garbage drum is located and maintained? How come the ward member and MLA miss this type of illegal encroachment and un maintained garbage bins in a residential area.
What is the Corporation of Chennai doing? Primarily, there should be no reluctance in punishing the officers for ignoring this type of encroachment. Wanted to know if there re any possibilities to find out the officer who gave approval for this illegal construction?
