Job description:
Marketing executives are involved in aspects of marketing, including: planning; collect advertisment; promotion; direct / phone / internet relations.
The responsibilities of the role will vary, depending on the size of the organisation and sector. The focus is not on selling any product / service or raising awareness of an issue that affects the public.
As many organisations have marketing departments, marketing executives can be found in both the private and public sectors: from the banking, retailing and media industries to voluntary and not-for-profit organisations. |

Typical work activities:
The work of a marketing executive is very simple. Tasks typically involve:

liaising and building relationships with a range of Business, e.g. Doctors, Home appliance, Construction ... Manufacturers, Buyers, Sellers.

developing advertising opportunities, which can involve placing adverts in national, regional and specialist publications or on the radio (depending on the organisation and the campaign);

maintaining and building contacts with the public;
- Preparing advertising scripts ;
- preparing photo shoots;
-
managing the colletion of advertisment from the Public related to their business related or service related.

arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials;
-
maintaining and updating contacts;
-
evaluating marketing campaigns;
-
monitoring competitor activity;
-
contributing to and developing long-term marketing plans and strategies;
-
assisting in the delivery of customer need;
-
supporting the marketing manager and other colleagues.

Salary and conditions:

Range of typical starting commission of 20%. or Rs. 5,000/- monthly

Incentive 5% on achiving minimum business every month .

Transport expense will be monthly Rs. 500 / Rs. 1000 on the basis of business .

Working hours are generally 10 AM to 6 PM.

Reporting depent on the situation.

Marketing executives are generally office based, but often have to attend events and exhibitions, as well as meetings with suppliers, clients and partner organisations.

Self-employment/freelance work is possible.

Career breaks and secondments are possible.

Entry requirements:
There are no set qualifications needed to become a marketing executive, but most entrants have a degree or +2.
Although entry to the profession is open to all graduates/Diplomates, as marketing has now become one of the most popular career choices for graduates, the following degree subjects may be particularly helpful:
- marketing;
- communications;
- business/management;
Gaining pre-entry relevant work experience can be helpful, either via vacation work, work placements, shadowing or volunteering.
